Some actual good news

Today I was informed I received a bonus of 120 extra shares of stock as well as a 3% pay raise. I totally was shocked by this news today as I only thought they did focal reviews at year's end - come to find out from my boss they do it twice a year but the mid year review is less mentioned because they rarely do promotions or raises.

While my relationship situation was a roller coaster yesterday and today at least I did some good stuff at work! And next week I'm scheduled to have an interview for a promotion and I've been told by many people that I'm a shoo in - of course I have done my research and prepared extensively
