I’ve never been this far from home That is if I can still call it Home Is somewhere far and the Holes in my brain and in them this is where my House Use to be Sadly the wine has dissolved the images In an aerosol can is the poison My Lungs can’t breathe Gag reflex Maybe a puff of smoke that clouds the alveoli An orgasm in my brain makes it better but the damage is done “going home?” “I can’t remember”

Will be Like an origami plane It will allow me to be held On its back Your back That carried me It will carry me And lay me down Like I used to lay with you On a snowy sidewalk In Oslo Clenched in my fist Will be this one way ticket to Norway And your heart On this snowy sidewalk In Oslo This one way ticket to Norway Will expand And Cover me us Together The snow And us Will Blow A Way One Way No other way A One way ticket to Norway You were once the dark one But now you are covered in snow It is I who is dark now Maybe this ticket…

  8. Its the readability of his novels that make them so endearing. i usually finish them in a day or two. yes i understand what you mean, papers really kill novels for me
  9. I thought that Chinua Achebe portrayed the intricacy of the tribal culture so well that it was at a comparable level with western culture. he managed to give people whom we would consider savages a tangible depth that made them human. he also succeeded in making the christian missionaries the antagonist in the novel, something i imagine would be really hard to do. Achebe is an excellent writer. Yes Angels and Demons is a great book to read! i love dan brown!
  10. oh... forgot... i really want to read Revolutionary Road by Richard Yates. I heard its a really good book, has anyone here read it??
  11. you hated Things Fall Apart?? it is one of my al time favorite books! i'm currently reading Indecision by Benjamin Kunkel, and i'm re-reading angels and demons by Dan Brown.
