My girlfriend of a year just told me she needed space, time for herself time to take care of her. She told me we aren't helping each other for the future and she doesn't think we're good for each other and needs to be alone right now and she does'nt see a future for us that she was unhappy and doesn't feel for me like I feel for her and doesn't think she has those kind of feelings for me. That was last Tuesday then Thursday we talked again and she told me she wants to remain friends, go to movies, eat dinner, she even wants to join a co-ed softball team only if I play. Now I'm having a tough time right now, my car died about 2 months ago so I've been carless, there was a little bit of trouble in the house me and a few friends were living in so I moved out about 12 miles away and I'm borrowing my brothers car for now to get to work.
She told me she can't worry about me getting to work and we're I'm going to stay (I was actually staying at her house 4 nights a week, but she did ask me). Well on that Thursday I told her she was right and I need to take care of myself first and she was happy, almost to happy. But here's the confusing part, she asked me to come over her house after we talked and we watched TV and laughed like everything was normal, she used phrases like "we need things for us" and even cozied up to me as we sat and watched TV, hugged me and told me she has to hang out with me because she has no life without me.
She went away this weekend and I didn't call her once until today when she asked me to. she was on her way home actually when she answered, she was with 2 female friends in the car. She told me she had the best time and acted kind of cold and distant I don't know if it was because of the friends or she met a guy (she acts cold when she feels guilty) or it was just my imagination running wild. She talked for a good 5 minutes, asked what I did and then asked me if she can call me tomorrow when her friends leave (they live out of state). I felt slighted but bit my tongue. I really love this girl and want her back and feel she's the one. The funny thing is I was just approved to lease a car today, got offered a new job on Saturday for more money and I'm moving back into the area on Nov. 1st (I still work there everyday). I'm sorry this was so long wanted to get some opinions on whether I have a shot at getting her back and what I can do to try, and if she still has those kind of feelings for me. Any opinions would help Thank You.
