  1. You realize this is normal in the workplace, don't you? You are not a child, Alex. It's time you stopped expecting people to treat you like one.
  2. I would work on your own emotional maturity.
  3. What does this have to do with you? You don't need to rescue him from this, and it seems he's not that bothered about it if he wasn't very responsive to you. The above reads more like you were looking for an excuse (for yourself) to get in touch with him again.
  4. I don’t really the see point in trying to be friends with him. Yeah, you have your country of origin in common (and I get that, living abroad myself), but that’s not really that significant a reason to be in each other’s lives. Also, consider that he might be seeing someone else and thus responded more dryly to you now. I don’t get the sense he’s really interested in friendship at this time, so I’d leave it be and not reach out again.
  5. I also live abroad, OP, and have for over a decade. Wait and see how things go once you get there. Try not to plan these things out too much in advance, because you won't really know the reality of it until you are actually there and living the experience. You will then have a much better understanding how to mesh with your new surroundings. Connect with other expats, as well as locals. Join social and meet-up groups, and even language-exchange groups. Focus on getting to know to know others, and the rest will follow.
  6. You should never have gotten back together with him. But since you did, you are now seeing why that was a big mistake. End it.
  7. Yes, but I would like hear OP's own thoughts rather than our speculations.
  8. Yes, I was wondering the same thing. Why do you believe she was interested in you romantically, OP?
  9. My question, too. OP, there was no need to start yet another thread under this account when you have plenty of replies in your last one. You seem to be really grasping for someone to tell you that he might be into you.
  10. Girl, no. Do not send that. Simply tell him you can't continue seeing him knowing he has a girlfriend. End of. The rest is too much.
  11. Do you have another thread on this guy? This story is very similar to a couple other recent ones.
  12. Perhaps it would help if you talked it out with us here. How long were you together? How old are you both? What were her mental health issues?
