  1. Here's where she begged you to stop analyzing
  2. Oh but there's hyperbole for that too. "Love bombing ". Lol
  3. Wrong thread. She has already asked on that thread to please skip the psychoanalysis. And yes it is cultural. It's invalidating to simply not believe someone who's correct about their own environment and culture and replace it with unnecessary reassigned motives.
  4. Agree. Everyone is using and misusing terms as almost an epidemic. Too many armchair psychiatrists pretending they know the DSM and everyone they're having an issue with is in there. For example everyone's ex has a cluster B personality disorder. And that language is hyperbole and antagonistic not to mention unenlightened.
  5. If you are from a more reserved culture than you're used to it. I'm not sure why people don't believe that some cultures are more reserved, formal and have better boundaries. That doesn't make them unfriendly, it's just the local etiquette. It's not like being a tourist.
  6. Why did your sister bother setting you up with someone unavailable and uninterested? You could try asking her out again and if she refuses to meet tell her you don't want to waste your time on a text buddy.
  7. The article was about CDC data that simply stated that marriages are back to pre Covid levels. It doesn't seem like an overall trend or that people are dating more seriously.
  8. Unfortunately you aren't even dating, no less have a relationship. If she won't meet she seems bored or uninterested.
  9. How is running around having reckless unprotected sex "working on his divorce"?
  10. Please try to meet up in person. If you have to "confront" someone to be interested in texting you, it doesn't seem promising.
  11. My Animals Nearly Left Yesterday 🐕 TROPE 📱
  12. How long have you been seeing each other? Are you interested in just hanging out or dating or a relationship? Texting is not dating nor a measurement of interest. Please stop sending multiple texts. No one likes to be text tethered or spammed. How are things in person?
  13. Agree. However there is this neo-misogyny, dressed up as men's rights similar other hate groups dressed up as empowering rights: "The manosphere is a diverse collection of websites, blogs, and online forums promoting masculinity, misogyny, and opposition to feminism. Communities within the manosphere include men's rights activists, incels ,Men Going Their Own Way (MGTOW), pick-up artists (PUA)" While this subgroup doesn't really impact modern dating, it's out there.
