  1. Our bodies were meant to be under constant physical exersion. Centuries ago there was no such thing as being lazy! Well...maybe for the wealthy but overall people always had things to tend to. Which is why there is such a huge epidemic of obese people this day and age. We have evolved into calorie consuming, weight gaining machines. Our bodies are telling us to utilize the energy we've stored which is purely evident in.....lethargy, hyperactivity (brain), stress and for the worst......sickness! I work out (and not necessarily go to the gym!) because... 1) I don't want to feel overwhelmed with laziness. I find that I'm alot more efficient and I get more done in a day. Overall I have alot more energy and the plus side of that is I'm more fun to be around! 2) Sometimes you can have too much energy and your brain can feel like you just can't concentrate. Your mind thinks about one thing and then another thing, and then another thing. Then you become a worry wort (just an example) I'm a student in the medical field and especially when it comes to studying and making sense out of things, I find that physical exersion (maintained level of activity) can really help me stabilize nervous tension with the ability to feel WIDE awake. Not only that, when it comes to bed time and your done for the day, having a good workout that day can assist in getting a good nights rest! I like doing that before an exam! 3)When I'm stressed.....working out releases tension by relaxing my muscles (from a good stretch or yoga work out). You come out feeling refreshed and your body loves it. It then goes back to having an awesome nights rest. If you maintain this workout regimen, you'll be hitting all your stress points and getting rid of it before you even realized it was there!!!! 4) Working out speeds up metabollic activity within your body. Simply, the more you work out the more you improve all the systems in your body. for example your cardiovascular system. You work out....which increases your heart rate.....blood flows quicker in your body......which means your transferring more oxygen(good) into your system and more carbon (bad...in essense) out of your system.....your more awake.....your heart is stronger....decreased risk of health problems ie. heart attack. and....my favourite......it increases your sex drive! and the benefit of that is it's like a cycle...you get another great work out from sex! Sorry for the huge explanation but I think it's important to really understand why people work out! OVERALL.....I work out because I have more control over my body!!!! I can destress, I can feel awake, I can make myself feel sleepy, It helps me feel content/excited/stronger, I can fight off a cold easily, I enjoy sex! (also because your alot more flexible!) and I do and want to do more in a day!....which also relates to personal growth!!!! and lastly, if you keep it up long enough you will have a very healthy looking body!!!! Take care, J ps. I was 60-75 pounds overweight and all those negative implications of not working out took a toll on me. I was very sick! Now I feel like there's more to experience and enjoy in life. Take care and I hope you work out for all the good reasons!
  2. I have PCOS but I was lucky enough to find out when I was 18. The advice my doctor gave me was to try and regulate my period. With that in mind he gave me perscriptions of birth control! My periods have been consistent but are somewhat light. The important issue is that I'm dropping eggs and have trained my body to do so. This will increase my chances of getting pregnant (whenever I plan to). Have you been on birth control? I've heard of success stories with clomid and if your trying to get pregnant before the end of next year than it's an ok time to start. Keep in mind that clomid works differently for people. You may get pregnant instantly and it may take you 6 months maybe longer! The real issue is are you willing to have a child sooner than expected and are you patient enough to wait for months before you do get pregnant!!! If I were you and I wasn't concerned about getting pregnant right away I would try and regulate my period before I go on clomid (assuming that I haven't tried) and hopefully it's not too late! Then when my period is somewhat regular, by advice of your doctor, go on clomid when you feel like "I am ready to try and get pregnant". I have a friend who tried clomid for 1 year and was unsucessful. She was ofcourse upset but kept a good heart about it. About 6 months later she tried clomid again and on their second try she was successful and on top of that she had unidenticle twins! Multiple births can be quite common! The number one thing is that you can't really time pregnancy when you have PCOS. It's about being ready or patient and preparing your body as much as possible. I wish you the best of luck!!!!
  3. As another female in your shoes, I completely relate to the way you feel, except I'm a little past your point. When you are in a serious relationship it's important to communicate to him how you feel. Your probably thinking "easy for you to say!" and truth be told it's not easy. Speaking from experience as a girl who tries to tuff things out and keep everything inside, your feelings will never go away and if you plan on being with this man for the long haul then your not starting off right! Communication is number 1 and open "sex" communication is right up there with it. That includes masturbation. My boyfriend loves to look at porn. It bothered me for the longest time. He's my first long term relationship and first love soo you can only imagine how emotional I was when I would find hundreds of downloads on his computer. I would find new downloads everyday. He's a systems analyst and no matter how good at computers a person can be there's no way of hiding stuff like this. The more they need it the sloppier they get. Anyways back on tra ck. It's taken me 2.5 years to settle my emotions around this fact. One day I just cracked and I told him straight out how I felt because it was affecting our sex life. It was him who wasn't turned on in bed.... it was me. I couldn't get it out of my head that he was constantly looking at porn. It would turn me off!!!! We spent the whole morning talking about how to make things work. He was willing to give up porn completely but I knew that was impossible. I came to realize that was unfair. I realized porn was like my need for chocolate during my period. I would of rather had someone be open about their need for porn instead of sneaking around my back. After our long conversation we learnt that you can think about it 2 ways. Your either both at fault for the hurt feelings or your both NOT at fault. If he's willing to give and take then you know he's serious about you and vise versa. I told my boyfriend that I hated when he'd look at porn when I was around and that I hated his habit overall. He told me he hated it when I would be angry with him and he wouldn't know why. (because I was soo upset anything I felt he did wrong was becasue of the porn! I'm an extreme case!lol). We came to the conclusion that it wasn't fair for him to look at porn without trying to get sexual with me first and I don't mean "let's have sex honey!" I mean...he would really try to get me in the mood. Make me feel sexy. For those of you guys reading this: THE MORE SEXIER YOU SINCERLY TRY TO MAKE A GIRL FEEL THE MORE SEXIER SHE'LL BE! I MEAN EXPERIMENTAL, KINKY AND EXHIBITIONIST LIKE! If that didn't work (it happens...) then I learned its perfectly fine for him to try and satisfy his needs (So long as its pornography and not other women. If it's other women you need to get rid of him!). Its males natural habitions to feel horney (for lack of a better word). We also concluded that its important for me to just let him know when I was turned on or that I wanted a little something something later on in the day. Planned sex! With that in mind he wouldn't look at porn but anticipate our planned sex date! and if he did look at porn when I wasn't around then it was importnat for him to owe up to his promise later on in the day. Which usually isn't a problem. I also found out that when he was looking at porn when I was around, was because he assumed I wasn't in the mood. So we concluded that I would somehow let him know that I was turned on....like sneakily put on some lingerie or skimpy clothes and just walk up to him and take advantage or just simply say "hon, come here...now!" How could he refuse. I wouldn't even refuse me! lol! If your guy in that situation I just explained does not want to make love to you after that, then I believe he truly has an addiction and let him know that he needs to do something to balance the situation or he's going to lose you. There are men out there who would love to treat you like a sex goddess for the rest ofyour life!!!! Soo to conclude.....our sex life is good and amplifying. Were still very young and inexperienced and with that in mind we can't wait for years to come! One thing I forgot to mention....there will be times when his "looking at porn" will bother you once in a while. That's normal. Just hit the clubs and get it on with some other hotties! Just kidding! Just think back to what I said....he probably assumed you weren't in the mood or you didn't communicate nor did he communicate he was in the mood either. You just need to keep up with that and your sex life becomes more open and exciting!!!! All the best!!!!!
