  1. sorry raykay, but just because a chick's experimented with certain things (like things done during menstrual cycles) that doesn't mean that i actually enjoyed it hon. you got it all wrong. i DID state that i was pissed off at my ex (and the chick) for persuading me to do some crap like that.
  2. The Pillars Of Life Faith is seeing what can't be seen. Love is caring for all. Hope is the courage to wait for The Master's final call. Prayer is a two-way communion With the Father of mankind. Forgiveness is receiving That glorious peace of mind. Serving is helping to pay The toll for Heaven, our home, which is our destination When we no longer roam. These are the pillars of life Which support us when we fall. So let us build them stronger By obeying the Master Law.
  3. thanks shysoul. you're the best! also, what about that financial aid stuff? what's it for?
  4. ok. i have a question/statement. why is it that college is so expensive whenever people TRY to get into college when they know they can't afford it? wha i'm actually trying to say is that elementary, middle, and high schools, you don't have to pay to set foot inside a classroom, but in college, you do. why is that? is it because they're trying to take money away from us or that they need it for what? elementary, middle, and high schools, the only things in those types of schools that aren't free are the field trips, boooks (if you were to lose any or misplace them), and various school activities or tryouts. why do we people have to be able to PAY for college materials just to set foot inside a classroom, but in a regular school(s), they're considered free? this is the way i see it. i right now, can't even afford to find a high school or an adult education center around here just to sit for a few hours to study to get my g.e.d. or high school diploma. if i had the money, yes, i probably WOULD go to college and end up paying all those high fees that i might someday have to face. tuition is just as bad. if you get like a student loan or something or like a grant, you have to pay ALL of that stuff back just to set foot inside a classroom if you're only just sitting there for like 2 or 3 hours to study for a test to get a degree. i don't really understand and it makes me angry that i've been out of school for 7 years now and still no degree. i feel like i'm the dumbest person on this earth because an exit exam that i can't seem to pass is holding me back from wanting to achieve in whatever i want and need in life. does anyone understand what i'm trying to point out here? please help answer these questions before i completely lose my doggone mind!... ...by the way, i hated school. (and always did) p.s. let's not forget this financial aid stuff. i don't think that stuff will work out for me.
  5. thanks you guys! also, i'm gonna check out that website link removed
  6. well...this post you all probably won't believe this, but i've heard this interesting story, but i'm not so sure if it's true or not, but i've heard that a woman can get pregnant by touching one of those ancient african american-looking statues. there was reported at least 130 pregnancies! i doubt it if this is in fact true, but you never know. one of the statues had like a couple holding like a baby statue with it or something like that, and if a woman came by and touched the "baby" statue, the woman that touched it became pregnant. have you ever wondered if they have real statues like that in a real museum?
  7. that's cool that you just recently got your belly button done. i've been wanting mine done for a while. i just had to ask people who had theirs done to see if it's worth it or not for me to get mine done.
  8. . For a number of reasons, as I approached my 40th birthday, I had my nipples pierced. It was not a fashion statement or thinking it was a cool thing to do. It was very much a rite of passage thing as I was going through a particularly difficult time in several areas of my life. Best I can describe it was a combination of "I am turning 40 this year and I will not have any children thereforeeee I will never use these for their intended purpose, I am a strong and powerful individual and can handle whatever comes my way, I am woman hear me roar..." My husband went with me when I had them done. I have since had to give up one of them due to a very minor infection, so I only have one pierced nipple now. I think about getting the other one re-done every once in a while, but the circumstances that made it the right thing at that time have long since passed, and it wouldn't be the same. It wouldn't have the same significance. If you decided to have a body piercing, you really cannot be too hyper about the aftercare. Both of my piercings got the same aftercare, and while one was fine, the other was problematic enough that I eventually took it out and let it heal up without the piercing. sweetheart, not all chicks have their ear pierced shortly after birth. my younger sister had hers pierced sometime after she was 10.
  9. shes2smart, how many piercings do you have? you don't have to tell me WHERE, but you know.
