  1. Fiction of different genres. 🙂
  2. Been here for 9 years though have been inactive for a handful of years lately. I'm a writer. What brought me here? I've always been interested in reading and giving advice, since I was a child. Not sure why. Maybe I'm just a born nosybody. 🙃
  3. Hey there, So, it's really good that you guys talked about it - BUT, I believe you need to take that discussion further. It should be more than a simple "you did this" and she responding with a "oops, sorry." Further resolution is needed. For example - what are both of your boundaries? Have you two ever sat down and discussed what each of you will put up with, and what each of you will never tolerate? Your discussion seemed like more of a band aid to me - not a solution to the long term problem. My opinion - this relationship is very young and it doesn't seem like you two are on the same page. Furthermore, she wasn't particularly disturbed that you felt uneasy about her flirting. This is supposed to be the honeymoon period of dating, when you both send each other silly, flirty, explicit texts and giggle over them and sigh happily in thinking about each other. It ain't gonna get better or easier, my dude. Best to split up now while you can. Good luck.
  4. omg!!! That's incredible news. I'm so happy for you!!
  5. It gets under my skin when a person posts about a problem with someone they're dating, then EVERYONE in the waking world tells them they're just not that into you, move on, etc. The OP decides to come back and say "wait I forgot to mention that, once in the year 1992 he said I was pretty." LOL. I'm paraphrasing just to be a jerk, but you get the idea. It's like, no, we can read, we can get the impression of your situation by reading your wall o' text, we get it. One thing is not going to change what we can plainly see and what you can't. I also can't stand run-on sentences. I get that this is a forum and not an English class, and I also understand that phones autocorrect things. But how hard is it to throw in a period or comma once in a while? Or have mercy on our eyes by using the space bar between paragraphs? On the flip side, sometimes when a person isn't a native English speaker, they apologize in advance for what they think might be a rough post, but it turns out to be well-written. Many times they write far better than others who've been speaking English all their lives and just choose to type in a way that no one can understand. Sorry, I'm not normally a jerk, but I've been holding these in for a while.
  6. Cool. I won't tell you anymore about it. My lips are sealed. Hope you enjoy it!
  7. LOVED IT. The movie was good too, but the book is vastly superior. From my experience people either really loved the book or really hated it.
  8. I've read one book by Joe Hill. Love him. Just don't have a whole lot of time to read more. Been reading Booker T. Washington's autobiography, UP FROM SLAVERY. Sooo intriguing and he writes very well. I recommend it highly for anyone who hasn't read it yet.
