10 Life-Changing Habits in 1 Minute or Less

We all strive for success, but it seems to take so long before we reach our goals. Thankfully, with some small, simple habits put into place, you can save time and experience more happiness in no time! These ten one-minute habits will propel you closer to success and leave you feeling energized and positive.

The first habit is to jot down what success looks like to you. It can be a short list of fifty dreams or the five most pressing desires. Spend just one minute visualizing what success means to you and it will be easier to surpass the small speed bumps on your way there.

Second, take some time every day to meditate. Whether it’s just 60 seconds or 10 minutes, meditation helps to bring clarity and ease to any situation. While muddling through an overwhelming task, take a minute for a mini-meditation and find peace on the inside.

Third, use a timer to keep you organized. Take 60 seconds to make a plan to tackle a goal, then set a timer for the duration of your task and stick to it. A timer will also help you stay on track for activities and breaks for maximum efficiency.

Fourth, reduce stress with a quick breakfast. Just one minute spent on eating a wholesome, balanced breakfast can give you a boost of energy and set the tone for a productive day. Start each day with a smile and keep stress at bay.

Fifth, start the morning with a simple gratitude ritual. Spend 60 seconds voicing gratitude, either out loud or in your head. This ritual will remind you of all the little things that you have going for you and will recharge you to take on the day.

Sixth, make sure to never miss out on alone time. Even if it’s just a minute to yourself, it can be lifesaving during a stressful, chaotic day. Refuel and reset by taking pause, even when life throws curveballs.

Seventh, practice self-compassion. Little acts of kindness go a long way and self-compassion is no exception. Spend a minuscule amount of time throughout your day tending to your own mental health and you will see triumph no matter what obstacles lay in your way.

Eighth, tackle distractions without fail. When the urge to check social media arises, resist the temptation and take a minute to get back to the task at hand. If anything can wait a minute, then it must.

Ninth, clear away negative thoughts. Worries and doubts are normal but don’t let these sentiments control you. Take a moment to reflect on everything you’ve achieved and soak in the goodness of optimism.

Visualize your future. Take 60 seconds to create a vivid image of where and who you want to be. This encourages fresh ideas, drives and purposeful action. Visualize success, embrace life and you will feel the rewards of the process.

It doesn’t take much to create a meaningful difference in your life. With just a minute of intention and dedication, you can save time, stay focused and experience profound happiness. That’s all it takes - 10 One-minute Habits That Save Time and Create Happiness.
