You will learn eventually what to do in the good times and what to do in the bad times, it takes forsight, intelligence, being flexible with your own abilities.
When things go wrong, imagine your favorite thing in the world, or the thing that you are best at. There is an ancient chinese saying that says to be like water, be hard when you need to be hard, be soft and warm when you need to be warm. Don't let the feelings of others influence your choices too much.

Why do you place YOUR happiness on another person? If you do that, you will never be happy. You must realize that. Now go out and live your life.

maybe we're just here to figure out what we love to do, and then go and do it. I wouldn't base your happiness solely on another person - they tend to disappoint.
Best wishes! |

You can't trust anyone but yourself... You can't also expect to be happy just because of another person, cause you gotta be happy by yourself too... There are many things I hate about myself, but I'm trying to improve those things... that, plus the fact that I know I can be happy with what I already have, which is not all that much, is what keeps me going... Dude, you're 17, like me. You probably would like to find a person who could be the center of your life, but let me tell you that at this age, it's gonna be HARD, cause ppl tend to not take stuff seriously... I guess I'm trying to say that you shouldn't have such a grim vision of life... Learn to not care so much about the others (except family, who most of the time have always been there for us) and do things for yourself, not for the others... Listen to some music full of energy, lol. Best of luck, man. Happy new years too.

I think in order to be truely happy in life you cant base your whole life on just a person...I dont know if your religious or not and I dont know if you believe in God but I've found that praying really helps. I used to not be very religious and I used to be the type of person who only focused on the materialistic things life had to offer but then I started to go to church more and it gave me a good feeling..and at the end of the day I felt happy and complete...I guess what i'm trying to say is if your truely bored of what you've been doing in life you might wanna give praying a try..Life isnt just about people and relationships its about more than that..if your not for going down the religious path then you might wanna focus your time maybe on helping others, try getting involved with charities and stuff..it will give you a good feeling that your helping someone and maybe by helping others it might bring more happiness to your life...Hope I could help and good luck
