How to build confidence

Heya peeps hope you all had a nice weekend,

I just had my hair done yesterday I had dyed. But I'm worried about going to school now. you see I like my hair now but some times people upset me or say things to me that hurt badly.

I'm not that confident at school. I sometimes snap at teachers or my friend sif I have been angered by something, but thats about as far as it goes. There is this boy who's black (don't mean for that to sound racist)
but he's very open and rude. he likes to put people on the spot and loves to distract students in class just to annoy the teachers. Sometimes he's upset me with his comments and I have yelled at him. But then he says "Your been racist to me.You yell at me just because I'm black!" I wasn't been racist at all so I just shut up and sat down and didn't speak after that.

But I'm scared someone will say something about me now I have had my hair done. I don't know what to do. I get nervous at school a lot and then it shows to much. What should I do?

Just Dont care about what other people think if you like your hair style and that should be fine with them. Dont let other people tell you what they think of something if you like it then its fine. PS real friends dont judge other people

Look here is the deal, you did your hair for you and only you. the boy is a nut job screaming for attention. if he touches you then kick his butt or walk away

Well, if you think it looks nice, then it probably does. You know, we can always pretty much immediately tell if a new style/look is going to work for us or not.

If someone makes a crack about it, laugh and make a joke, like "Oh, you don't like it? Because I got this new look just for you, of course!" If they say something again that's snotty, just look at them like you would at someone who is picking their nose in public, and pay no more attention to them. In fact, from now on, when someone says something rude, that's exactly how you should perceive them. Trust me, in a couple of years, people who say things that are rude won't be that popular. As people mature, they tend to shun the immature people who refuse to grow up.

I'm sure you'll get alot of positive comments and if you don't then they're either jealous or just so sad that they have to make such a big deal your new hair style. Surely if they are so great themselves they'd have better things to do then make comments about your hair.

It doesn't matter what they think! If your happy with yourself and your hair then everyone else can.. *tries to think of a non offensive sentance and can't* you get the idea

As long as your happy thats all that matters. If it gets out of hand you can talk to your teachers about it.

Also, try to work on how you take things so personally. Because people that like to tease will immediately sense this about you.

When we don't take things personally, we tend to get left alone by the people who like to pick on others.

some people like to think they look good for themselves , i disagree ,simply because we as humans are affected by appearances so easily that all our reactions are based upon them .
