I know how you feel!!! and it sucks!!!

My dad has cancer and i find it hard to be his friend sometimes because we are different in many ways, sometimes he cant sleep cause of Kemo and he goes to the beach(his almost favorite place) but when the balls on my court i dont really like the beach, i was born in michigan. not really a beach type of person but anyway, there are many ways to cope with your dads being sick and i, only being 14 have tried everyone of them and to tell you the truth telling the world the that its a hellhole doesnt really help, try to spend time with him and weather it sounds stupid or not tell yourself that it will all workout and it will, seriously you dont have to believe very much but it will.

hi jason, i am pretty sure being 14 sucks no matter what, but when your dad is sick it sure doesn't help! hey...i'm not much of a beachgoer either, (my skin is practically trasluscent) but i think you can probably find something to like about it. once your dad is gone you'll never get him back. have you gone to see a counsellor about your situation? i think it could really help...don't just let them drug you up, though, it seems like you just need to talk to someone neutral to the situation. good luck, man. i'm pulling for you. megan

You don't like the beach???? I'm a California girl, it's almost a religion here. I don't mind, the beach is beautiful! There is nothing better than the sound of the surf! Go to the beach with your father, enjoy it with him.
