Give a hug?

Anyone have a few minutes to give me a virtual hug? I could really use one right now - feeling very low.

I myself am having an awful awful day. Right in the middle of midterms, found out that my ex in fact cheated on me with this girl I abhor, lied about it repeatedly to my face. When I finally found evidence otherwise last night he stonewalled me, tacitly admitted to it but refused any communication with me, and I now find out he also had sex with her right after we broke up and is now hooking up with another girl. (He always said sex was meaningful to him and I thought we had that in common.) Anyway, I just feel completely shattered about the whole thing. I've kicked and screamed and cried and hyperventilated, even threw up I was so upset ... Anger isn't working, sadness, resolving to erase him from my life ... it just all feels like death.

I have a therapist, a mother and friends, so I don't really need analysis or advice. I know what I need to do - it's just a case of life being not so great right now. I just want a hug, and someone to say someday it will all be better and it won't hurt as much.

Anyone?

If anyone else wants a hug, post here and I'll be happy to oblige!

Wow I am so sorry you are having a rough go of it right now. I hope you feel more in control of it all soon. In the meantime, do something wonderful for you.

And I know it doesn't feel like it at the moment, but things will start to feel better. It takes some time, but just remember when you are feeling down that it will get better soon. Spend a lot of time with your friends right now and get out of the house a lot as soon as midterms are over. It's great that you have a big support network!
