Astrology and Dating - What are your thoughts?

I've never seen any posts about Astrology on ENA and a lot of people believe in it so I decided to write about it and ask everyone's opinion about the topic.

It can also be a thread where we talk about our star sign and ask opinions from people who share the signs of the people we are dating. IF, indeed, you believe in it.

I've always been drawn to astrology, probably because I really identify with my star sign: Aries. I've never taken compatibility or forecasts seriously, just as entertainment.

However, lately, specially in my romantic relationships, I've been finding A LOT of truth in all of it.

The last three guys I've dated were the EXACT description of their star signs and in the case of my ex boyfriend of 3 years, our relationship ended exactly because of the reason described in compability tests.

It might sound crazy and far fetched and I'd NEVER date or not date someone based on their star signs, but I definetly think it's interesting to gain some knowledge to know how to deal with each type of people.

What are your input in this topic? Bullsh*t?

It's something to talk about on a first date - an ice breaker of sorts but it is very unscientific.
Myers Briggs is actually better for these kinds of things.

Why do most people's personality are true to their star sign though? I mean, my description is completely Aries, my mom, dad, sister, best friends... In my life it just seems to make a lot of sense.

Religion is not science either but who says it's not real you know?

It's all about personality typing. I mean really... do you believe that gravitational pull from star clusters determine when your born and what your personality is going to be?

If you pay attention to a guy's personality and behavior type... you won't need astrology.

My personality fits no less than 5 starsigns. My sister at least 3.

Even religion has to make sense before you believe it.

I think to get the whole story you have to do their chart.

I am a Scorpio with Leo ascendant and I don't half act like a Leo!

The guys I pick to date (upon further inspection) always seem to have a lot of planets in Virgo which is a bit of a coincidence.

I'm into astrology, but I would never not date someone because of their star sign and I don't believe in the horoscopes which lump people into 12 categories and then predict their day/week!

I guess. But if you do your astological map you can see what planet rules a lot of aspects and why other signs affect you as well.

I just think a lot of things in life are not explained by science and I kind of believe in astrology in a weird way. But seems to be unpopular here.

totally beleive in it. will never date another scorpio or aries as long as i live, cancers are not my best match either. (i'm a woman, so i can only speak about men)

Oh this I don't do at all... It's just the personality and compability that makes sense.

I'm an Aries with Aries... My ex was a Cancer with Aries... Although he acts ambitious and independent which made us work for so long, in the end my Aries nature got "bored" with his stable/family/home one.
