Weight Watchers: Tell me all about it!

Does anyone have experience with weight watchers? It has come to the point where I feel like I can't lose this weight by myself, and I want to be healthier overall. I want to go back to what I used to be.

Help me! Reviews??

i like it a lot. i lost a lot of weight with them (several times!) but everytime i stop going, i slowly gain it back. sigh.

but basically, you have weekly meetings and weigh ins, you discuss a different topic each week as a group. maybe a topic like, 'strategies when you are going out to lunch with friends or coworkers.'

the meal plan is based on a 'points' system and each food has a certain amount of points, depending on how many fat, calories, and fiber it has. you get to eat a certain number of points per day, and also have some extra to use as you like, and you get more points if you exercise.

it's a good system, i like it.

I joined WW in May. As of today, I have lost 42 pounds. I joined several yrs ago and lost 60 lbs. I found its easier to use WW. You can still eat your favorite foods just take the points away from your daily intake.
