Struggling to lose weight.

I'm really struggling with my body image and my weight.

I want to lose some by the time my vacation comes, and I posted about this a long time ago...but I just don't have the damn self control. I don't know what to do because I never seem to stick with a diet, or exercise as much as I should.

Everyone keeps telling me I don't really look bad...but I know I have gained quite a bit, and it was reinforced when I saw some family members over the weekend that I hadn't seen in a while and they mentioned to me that I had indeed put on weight. it wasn't in an offensive or insulting way, just honest.

I don't know what to do. I have 2 1/2 months to look good in my swimsuit and I'm freaking out.

HELP.

Go out and buy youself some healthy food and start exercising. I know I'm stating the obvious but it's the only way. Crash diets are a waste of time and will lead to bigger weight problems in the future. I did the same when I was going on holiday. I ate salad and fruit every day for 2 weeks and lost half a stone. That was even without exercise. I think if you want it that badly you can do it.

P.s. 2.5 months is ample time to make significant changes to your body if you put the work in.

Since you're not technically overweight, 1-2lbs a week is probably a safe bet. People that are obese can lose a good 3-5lbs a week with the same effort, so don't get too discouraged.
