Do you wear your wedding ring?

If not, please give reasons.

I do. But I know people who don't and the usual reason is that they find rings uncomfortable - in some cases dangerous because of work or other activities.

I used to until my daughter got a hold of it to play with it. I never saw it again.

I hear that a lot as well but I find it curious that I've never heard a woman say this. I wonder if it's more of a psychological discomfort?

I only know of one woman who said this - she wore no jewelery at all.

I'm not married. I work in a large truck garage and my boss actually fell from a truck oneday and his ring caught the top of the truck. It literally ripped his skin off his fingerdown to the bone. They had to cut his ring finger off.

Now you have.

I'm not a jewelry person. Never have been. I generally put on my ring as part of my "post shower-dry hair-brush teeth" routine, but don't always remember. If I'm not planning on leaving the house, I don't bother. I take it off when I take off my work clothes (...if I've remembered to put it on that day at all)

Psychological has nothing to do with it. I didn't wear much (if any) jewelry prior to getting married, and I never wore rings at all.

I only take mine off when I do certain things at work, like sculpting or large messy paintings.

I'm not married yet so no wedding ring but I currently can't wear my engagement ring on my finger because my hands are swollen and it's uncomfortable.
