Self esteem and value yourself

I would like to know your tips to how to do it

Take part in activities, like team sports for example, where you feel like you are contributing to a cause. Being part of a soccer team helped me a lot, and I soon became captain. Helped my esteem to no end.

Do other things that make you feel good about yourself and give a sense of achievement....learn to cook new dishes in a cookery class for example.

The practice of acting with integrity (i.e. that what you know, what you say and what you do is congruent) is a great self-esteem booster.

Feel good about yourself by doing things you know make you feel better

My sense of self esteem is tied up with how I look, especially on nights out, so I know if I make an effort and dress up, do my hair etc, I will feel really good about myself and be more confident and outgoing as a result work out what makes you feel good and how you can recreate that feeling.

I've asked that same question myself. I'd also be interested in any advice anyone has. It's hard to feel good about yourself when you feel so crappy.

There must be some specific things you can do to boost it. Life changes. But what are they?
