dry dry skin on face

So, I noticed I have extremely dry skin on my chin. I was using dermatalogica moisturizer before, but I ran low on money so I had to buy loreal. Should I drink more water and see if it clears up? or if not, can anyone give recomendations for good moisturizer under 50.00? I rather pay more for a good one. Thanks!!!!

Vanicream. Under $10. Recommended by my dermatologist. They have a lite lotion or a heavier cream. both are suitable for facial use.

it could be at the drug store but i haven't seen it there myself. you can find it at the grocery store. i found mine near the olive oil. it was $5.99 for 475mL. and REALLY helps dry skin because it's a natural moisturizer. it won't ruin your face either, because it doesn't contain extra chemicals. you can still use your regular moisturizer on top of it.
make sure you get sweet almond oil by the way.

Moisturel cream. Seriously, it's the best thing ever. Professional make-up artists swear by it, and you can get it at Walgreens, Rite Aid, or Amazon for about 15-20 dollars.

Aveeno...My brothers GF has dry skin ALL over her body & her doc recommended it, does the job. I use it on my face too, love it. I guess its like everything else, you gotta try a few before you know which one will work best for you.

yes...my face gets dry as well. i have lotion/cream from the dermatologist but it's really expensive...so unless it gets really bad i use aveeno and it works well.

drinking water can help...also try to avoid taking long hot showers.
