Chest Pains

I know I should be going to my G.P about this but I thought I'd ask if any one else has this first.

Basically, I keep getting chest pains, on the left side towards my shoulder. It usually happens when I'm laying in bed, when I wake up or at work.

Could it be anxiety? It's just really painful, esp when I breathe in.

Do you have reason for anxiety?
It may.

I had chest pains in the past, it was related to my birth control!

Thanks. I'm not on any birth control. It may be anxiety, I should really go to the dr's so they can do an ECG to check, as there are some heart problems in my family. I'm a hypocondriac lol!

Thanx! It usually lasts for about a minute and really hurts when I breathe in. It's starting to happen a bit now actually.

It could be anxiety related, but the health of your heart is not something to trifle with.
Definitely see your GP as soon as you can.
