Color Oops
Already posted about this situation but I have a different question.
*I had light brown hair with darker ends (bleh) and dyed it all light auburn but it looked horrid so I tried to cover everything with dark brown and it's still two-tone. This was about 2 weeks ago. I am relying on these repsonses before I cash out hundreds for a salon fix. Have any of you tried the Color Oops (or similar products) product on your hair to strip dye? How did it work- was there a lot of damage afterwards? I am hoping it makes my hair a more cohesive color so I can cover it over with a semi-permanent or something. I just want even color. ARGH I cannot bring myself to shell out so much cash right now, I'm hoping to avoid it. Thanks guys. |

If it strips the dye, I imagine it would definitely damage the hair quite a bit
I've never tried it though!

dont do it dont dont dont! stripping your hair is SO extremely bad for it. you will have that hair for years until it grows out. trust me, it is worth it to go to the salon.

I'm sorry to tell you this..but the only way you will fix your hair and have it look decent is by stripping it and ruining it...or going to a salon and shelling out alot of cash.
I have done this to my hair...lol |

The Salon is the always way to go. I've been altering my natural hair color for almost 15 years. Honestly, I've tried all the at home hair colors. I've learned that the money at the salon is well spent. Find a hairdresser you love and never look back.

Not like I don't already have thousands in school/medical/credit card debt... I'll just pay for $200 hair. LOL |

...And I say hundreds because I have gone to lower-end salons only to find they do WORSE than I can do myself.
I have had people dye my forehead! Come on, how hard is it to wipe the excess color off my FACE? So I will likely go to Sears or JcPenney- they normally do fine for a decent *groan* price. |

dontttt do it!! your hair is probably already damaged having been dyed twice within a short frame of time. Is there anyway you could keep it for a while? and the only other option i could think of was to color it reallly dark brown?
