Quick last minute weight loss tips
So with Spring Break and a trip to the beach being 11 days away, I'm trying to drop as much weight as I can before I leave. I'm always a relatively healthy eater and I work out regularly, so hopefully no one goes off on a "you need to make a lifestyle adjustment" thing... I'm just trying to do a temporary, rather extreme 11 day detox if you will.
I'm going the no carb route and am sticking to all vegetables and meats (not even fruit... and certainly no alcohol). I'm including eggs (mostly whites), black beans, etc. Have cut out artificial sugars like diet coke and am binging on water... Any other tips/things to avoid? I'm constantly looking for "okay" foods that would be good with curbing my cravings... I feel iffy about foods like tomato soup, peanut butter (small amount, like 1 tbl spoon), yogurt, or dry whole wheat plain cereal in small portions, but I find these things help me stay on the straight and narrow. Anything at all would help -- thanks for helping me achieve this goal

If you're okay with the "taste", try taking a tablespoon of extra light (not virgin) olive oil an hour before each meal you eat. After just a couple of days, you will find that your appetite will decrease considerably and no matter what you're eating, you'll be full after just a few bites. I'll spare the details, but if you want to know more, google "Shangri-la diet". I can say from firsthand experience that it works well, though you won't lose all that much in just 11 days from just dieting. I'm sure you'll look just fine anyways.

I'm on a weight-loss journey at the moment because I'm my fiance's support-person, and we both eat a handful of natural almonds between meals.
so, we'd eat breakfast at 6:30 {we wake up early}, then at 10 we'll have the almonds, then lunch at 12, then at 2 we'll have some more almonds or a small tub of diet yoghurt, then dinner at 6, and that's it for the day. Drink a large glass of water before each meal. Fills you up before you have even a chance to eat. My grandmother takes a tablespoon of oil {some sort of natural, healthy oil, I'm not sure which one} before each major meal, she swears by it for digestion and weight management, but I'm not quite sure about it! |

I'd drop the beans, stick with meat and veggies, and make sure 1/4 of your plate is meat while 3/4 of your plate is veggies to control calories. Or you could do a juice fast for 10 to 11 days. Ensure the juice is diluted, and is mostly veggie not fruit in content.

One to two days before you go slowly start eating a maintenance diet. The last thing you want to do is show up for spring break weak and extra sensitive to alcohol.

drink a lot of water, eat a lot of vegtables, and try slimfast/weightloss shakes
