Anything I can do to get my period started???

my PMS gets worse and worse until the menstrual bleeding starts. then it's maximum 2 days of cramping and fatigue and crying easilly until I'm bak to feeling just fine.

I could put up with the cramping and fatique... it's the days leading up to ot that can be hell... mental confusion and feeling disorganised and mainly anxiety that is pretty dam bad...

if my perios would just start, at least be regular... the end of this hell would be more predictable... anything I can take (all natural please. never going bck on hormonal birth control which gave me severe anxiety and depression)

thanks. help it's so hard.

i don't want to take antidepressants, or maybe just low low dosage the few days before my period.

I would also go through the same symptoms. My doctor prescribed me Naproxen, & I swear by it.

I take it 2 days before I'm due for my period, & it completely eliminates cramps, nausea, fatigue, etc.

hello 1MoreChance,
Eating foods like papaya, sesame (tahini or something would do too.) would help. Also, if 2-3 days when you are due, if you take head shower, guranteed your periods would start. And if 3-4 days into your periods, if you take head shower again, guranteed it would stop in a day. So, if you can refrain from washing your hair for those 3-4 days when you are on your periods, I think it should work for you as well.
Also, when you are approaching your periods, don't exercise for a while. My experience has been that my periods get delayed even if they are due.
My friend stopped eating meat and she said it really helped her period cramps. I'm a vegan so I can't comment on that. But I don't have unbearable cramps.
There is a theory out there, if you can have orgasms before your periods start or even while on your periods, it relieves cramps. I've not tried this method but if you can, give it a try.
Hope this helps.
I'm sorry you are going through all this. I hope you find some comfort.

Well I didn't suffer from depression, just anxiety. The anxiety would come from the constant pain, cramping, fatigue. It was so overwhelming that it would completely throw my mood off.

After taking the medication, it took away all the physical pain, which in turn helped with the anxiety.

Yes. That's just one option if you want a way to get rid of the pain--not mainly for anxiety or depression.

k I understand

you probably had even worse cramps than I.

My problem is BEFORE the bleeding and cramps... it's mental confusion, anxiety, nervousness, feeling overwhlmed, depressed, crying...

thanks for your help anyway... I think there is such a thin as taking an anti depressant when the PMS starts, and you stop whe you get your perios... I think prozac and effexor get used

Yes, just make sure you see a doctor before taking anything.
