Beauty advise for under 30's

Has anyone used the Clarins face day & night products, and would you say its a good beauty product to use?

What results did you see as far skin appearance and before after look / feeling?

These skin products are a huge waste of money...they are designed to make women believe they are taking care of their skin but the reality is simply that you are slapping goo all over your face when genetics and environment plays a huge part in how your skin will age. As I have gotten older I have gotten light brown spots on my face..guess what...my father has them too. Ever notice how Hollywood stars get wrinkles and saggy skin...with all their money I bet they bought a ton of face creams, face toning solutions etc....the ones with perfect skin are the ones who had cosmetic surgery. These skin products are expensive and are simply marketing ploys. Save your money. I use Ponds cream for the face simply because my face gets very dry in the winter or after I go swimming.

But as we get older the skin texture and how it was once when younger is different. I know that for sure on my skin.
Ur mother has kept up looking after her skin, but I guess if she didn't use anything at all, her skin would look somewhat different now. She surely has maintained her skin texture with what ever she's uses, even if it seems not!

I am using Olay day cream and that is good just to keep my skin moisterise, but I feel I need to look at a nother product - just to try out. Was thinking about Clarins.

We are so brainwashed about all sorts of products, it gets confusing to choose which one. Was looking at the L'oreal range, but just looks too 'fad'

I think its good to start looking after your skin, but like I said, when you get to a age, the skin changes so much before you eyes!

The only time my skin looks and feel good is in the summer, not in this country tho... when I am abroad in my family's country

I havent tried anything but oil of olay night cream, it didnt seem to do much so I didnt continue using it. I only use aveeno now, I havent started to really experiment with all the different products yet...not sure when I will but there wll be a time lol

My best friends mom, when I was in HS I remember her - every night lotioning her face & neck up with some avon products for like 20 mins, she said she used it to look younger. I never used avon but I tell u what this woman was 45 at the time & looked like she was no older then 30. Not sure if it had anything to do with the skin care she used or if it was just her genetics but she looked good!

I hate to agree with CAD but it's partly true. Skin creams so help...temporarily. Making changes like not smoking, drinking lots of water, exercise, etc WILL help long term. But
aging is mostly a genteic thing,If your mom or parents are real youthful, you probably will be too...but the only REAL skin "fix" is probably cosmetic surgery. This is why botox has gotten so popular, and even THAT is temporary. My suggestion is to stay out of the sun as much as possible, wear a good sunscreen, don't smoke, drink watter, exercise,
get plenty of sleep and wash the make-up off your face before you go to bed. And yes, moisturize.
