Perth

Ok,

So I was given the opportunity to go to Australia for work for 6 months. I was really hoping I would be going to Sydney; however, an associate firm (I am an accountant) has an opportunity in Perth.

Has anyone ever been there? How far is it from Sydney, travel wise? I know it is on the other side of the country but how long would it take to get from one place to the other.

What is around Perth? Lots of things to experience?

Is is expensive to travel in Australia? Are there any discount airlines?

Have you tried searching on the internet? Getting directions from one city to another? Looking up things to do in Perth?

my cousins live there, i've visited it.

In my opinion, it's a nice place to visit, but yes, it's the other side of the country. If this is an opportunity togo live in another place for months, i'd jump at the chance.

I've lived in Sydney, and I love it as a city, much more so than Perth...but lots of people like Perth too. There aren't as many places to travel to, but still lots of nice places up and down the coast.
