Will I lose weight this way?

I wanna do sort of a fasting thing...without fasting too much.I need to lose
about 10 lbs before my birthday.

I am thinking of eating just fruit (fresh) and nuts, like almonds, cashews,
brazil nuts etc for like a week. I will incorporate some exercise in there too
a few times a week and drink a lot of water. Will this help me drop some weight? I've been going out a lot too and drinking beer so I'm cutting out the alcohol too.

That may put you into starvation mode. I made these mistakes when I was younger. I lost the weight, but it came back when I started eating normally again, and then some. I finally figured out it has to be a lifestyle, not a once in a while trend.

Would it be ok to just do it for about a week or so just to drop some "extra" baggage?

If I keep my calorie intake at about 1200 a day do you think it would be ok?

if you're ok with it coming back after a week. It really will. I'm very anti-crash diet.

You should eat a little more than that, depending on what you weigh. Check out this page.

When is your birthday?

Also, fruit is full of sugar...
