Splinter-like pain in my big toe

I checked to see if there was anything lodged in there. I even had a couple other people have a look for me and they saw nothing. My toe hurts every time I step on it. Any ideas? Thanks!

Could there be glass in there? Happened to me once and it was VERY hard to see.

Did you stub it or possibly break a bone?

Nah...it's on the bottom of my toe on one particular spot. If I move my finger over it I can feel the pain in that one spot and nowhere else.

No, I didn't stub it or injure it in any way that I can remember. I hope it's not glass. I really don't see anything there and neither does anyone I've asked (family members checked for me).

If there's a bump where it hurts, it could be a cyst. If you don't see anything, maybe it's a pinched nerve?

Get a pot of hot water ( The hotter the better ) put salt in it. If there is anything in there the hot salt water will help draw it out.
