Do men care whether or not a girl is on birth control?
I've never heard a guy ask or inquire if a girl is on the pill before they had sex. I've heard people say that most men don't care or think about stuff like that

I am sure there are plenty of guys who ask...some of them figuring if the woman is on the pill then they don't have to use a condom.

Well I am sure that there are plenty that do care.
I would caution anyone though... Just because she says she is on the pill does not mean you should go in there with no glove. She could be lying, she could make a mistake and don't forget there's always that 3 percent chance that it could fail for no apparent reason at all.. Soooo use a condom each and every time you have sex until the time you choose to create life.

i've never had a new guy ask specifically, but i know that most guys do prefer it.

my bf asked me. we had only just met though, and i wasn't on the pill, so we didn't do any thing.

I've only been asked by some guys, but I didn't find it significant either way because I've never been on hormonal BC and I've always relied on condoms before (but am getting on BC now).

I see not having a birth control/std prevention discussion before having sex as an indicator that one or both of you isn't ready for the relationship to turn sexual yet.
