wild hormone fluctuations

I can't deal with it anymore. What can I do? Should I go see a doc? Would they even be able to help me? Does BC worsen PMS (I'm on the Nuvaring.) I really just can't live like this anymore, emotionally breaking down once a month for a week at a time.

It must not be the right BC for you. But evening primrose oil is suppose to help with PMS.

Try Asparagus Root - get it from a naturopath

Personally i wouldnt use anything like the nuvaring, or whatever the heck its called. It seems unnatural, and i dont know, who knows what it could cause later on.

Thanks guys. Ugh. I just can't take it anymore. I know I've already said that...just how I feel. No normal person should burst out crying for NO reason! I think I may try St, John's Wort...it's what my Mom used when she was down.

And yes, birth control seems to cause a slow down in sex drive, I tend to have bad luck with condoms though, so scared to go off of it again.

I have heard that Yaz is really good if you have PMS really bad. Mine is really bad too to the point I feel almost homocidal, I take St John's Wort for about 3 days and I am alot better. I know it is awful when you feel all out of control and can not stop it. HUG

I've tried two different types of the pill. I know it's stress combined with hormones and that is why now, almost a year after starting on the nuva ring, I am having monthly freakouts. I have been thinking about trying Yaz. The only thing stopping me is that I have such a hard time remembering it everyday.

I guess I could figure out how that works. Good idea. Has anyone here tried Yaz?
