I'm freaking out....is this an STD?

Last night I slept with this chick that I met at a bar about a month ago. I used a condom, but now i'm reading that some STD's can be transmitted even if you use a condom. I should have known better

Anyway, this afternoon it looked like I had some sort of a rash. At first I thought maybe it was irritation from the lube she had. But it looks like it's getting worse. Now there are small red spots and some of them are beginning to look like blisters. I'm almost certain I picked something up. I'm so upset with myself right now. And I'm totally freaked out. I've always been clean and now this

I plan to go to planned parenthood tomorrow for testing. I dont feel like I should wait until Monday to see my physician.

I'm so stupid

yeah unfortunately sex can never be completly safe! and hpv and herpes can get spread even with a condom on. if it is herpes, it is going to stay with you forever, sorry. if it is hpv chances are it goes away after while itself.

It certainly sounds like it could be an STD. I think you're doing the right thing by going to PP. The sooner you take care of this, the better!

Don't freak out yet. Most STDs are curable.

What you just mentioned, scares the hell out of me!!
I always do a visual check for a month after sex with a new women. Sounds like you problem hit fast!!!!

If it gets worse or does not clear soon, go to doc. Maybe you just rubbed the area "raw."

dont freak out! well, lol try not to!
i had that moment before. where i was um inspecting things down there and found like a bump? omg i freaaaaaaked. it turned out to be ingrown hair. haha.

it could be other things. and even if its an std, a lot of them are easy to deal with, esp with you being the guy (side note: is this stereotyping? i heard stds dont affect guys as much as they do for girls....).anyway, try to calm down but do go tmr =)

Shingles? Syphilis? Herpes? Have you googled any pics to see if what you have look similar?

I have googled several things and nothing really matches what i'm seeing down there. But I think this is because i'm in the VERY early stages. It's only been about 20 hours since we had sex. But whatever it is, it's looking worse every time i look at it....and i'm quite nervous to see what it's going to look like in the morning.

From what i've read, herpes seems to be the most likely. Small red bumps around the inner thighs....some of them appearing to take on a blister look. Nothing actually on my baby maker at the moment, so i'm guessing the condom protected that part at least. I'm wondering if this is going to spread to my unit though....I really hope nothing appears there. That would make this even worse.....but I have a feeling I havent even begun to see the worst of this.

I went to google too. Syphilis also causes a rash with fluid filled blisters. AND it's curable with penicillin.

I'm scared to death to have a sexual relationship without getting a full screen done. Seriously scary times out there.

Did you notice anything on her? If it's herpes, she would likely have had an outbreak, tho not always. Hope it's nothing to worry about.... Keep us posted.
