I finally quit

Not sure if i mentioned this before. But i love my computer games.
I would play them alot.

Mostly my xbox and World Of warcraft.

So to day, i wake up looking forward to my date. When im in a good mood i play well on my xbox, so i went to knock it on and it didnt work.

It broke! Got the Red Ring of Death. So now i dont have no xbox.
i thought great, my gaming will cut down now

So playing some WoW today with a friend of 9 years who now lives in Switzland. We were playing today and we decided to quit.

Was planning on quitting when our subscription runs out. But we thought that has no will power in it.
So we gave each other our account details and deleted all the charecters, cancelled the accounts and made up some messed up passwords so we wont be able to access them again.

After 3 years of playing that game we finally quit.
Ofc it never go to the point where it would ruin our lives.
As he is in Uni and i just came top in my class in college and planning on going to airforce.

I am dead proud of myself. Never thought i could do it

Like all your Epic gear, The new mounts that you can only get in a raid, new PvP gear, yeah the list goes on and with the new exp coming soon it's really going to get crazy lol.

Good for you. Close friend of mine failed out of his freshman year of college because of WoW. Luckily for him he spent soph year at a community college and now he goes to our university, which is top 20 and very prestigious. It's dangerous stuff.

It seems like a lot of people are addicted to World of Warcraft. Personally, I've never played and never will...just not my thing. I have nothing against video games though, in moderation. It doesn't sound like you were addicted at all but if you prefer not to play at all, then that's great...more time to do other fun things! I've seen so many posts here of people complaining about how their partners are addicted to that game...it's sad. I'm glad you're not one of those people. Good luck on your date!
