Spotting after exercise

So the other day I was working out for the first time in a while. My workout was more intense than I normally do. When I came home, I noticed that I had spotted a bit. I still have a few days before my period is suppose to start. I've never had this before, and I think I'm psyching myself out. There's really no way that I can be pregnant because I've never had sex. Me and my bf do fool around (I am always fully clothed). I read on some website that spotting like that may mean I'm pregnant, and as I'm writing this I see it sounds ridiculous but I'm still scared and making myself sick about it.

Has anyone else ever spotted after exercising?

Maybe you're just starting your period a bit earlier this time. If you didn't have sex or anything that comes close to sex (i.e. sperm in the vaginal area), the chance that you are pregnant is very very tiny.

They say that the sperm can go through the clothing. Get it checked. And if that freaks you out, make sure that next time you guys are dry humping, get a condom. Or stop doing it.

I've checked a couple of credible sites, and as far as I can tell, sperm is very fragile and cannot pass through clothing. I asked my mother about the spotting, and she said she sometimes has spotting a few days before her period actually is due to start, so I think I'm okay.

I think so too. It's just scary if things go on in the body that don't normally go on Be careful with near-sex when you are not using BC pills, though.
