kegel exercises

Ok, I am looking to try out some kegel exercises. The first step is to locate my PC muscles. I have looked up tons of online guides, but none of them actually tell me hoe I know I have found them, like what I should feel to know I found it. The current guide I am trying to work with is from askmen.com it is

"The easiest way to find them is to stop your flow of urine next time you go to the bathroom. Another way to isolate them is to put your finger inside your anus; when you contract the right muscles, your anus will tighten. However you decide to find them, once they are found you need to practice feeling exactly where they are located -- it is easy to overcompensate for weak muscles by using the abdominals, buttocks or thighs. These must all stay relaxed when doing Kegel exercises for men."

But like I said, it does not say what I should feel to know I have found it. So maybe someone who has tried this can tell me?

Now, I am sure that i am wrong, but I thought these were for women???

Maybe there are some exercises men can do? Whole new world...

hahah good thing i read this post. I had assumed that the OP was a female.
To the OP: I may be wrong but I have honestly not heard of kegal exercises for men. And if there are some, I could not see what they could benefit from it.

Kegel is both for women and men. Your pc muscle basically holds everything down south in place and it extends from your tailbone to your pubic bone. Its major function is the control of urine flow. Men with good pc muscle can usually hold their erection longer.

So men, tighten up!

Yeah, but I never really concentrated on how that felt. I am trying that as one of the steps to locate it. I THINK I may have found it but am not 100% certain. These guides are kinda vague that is why I am seeking to find other guys who have been successfully been using these exercises. Basically what I need to know, is it like a feeling in my gut I am looking for? I feel something at the base of my penis when I do this, but is that the correct area I am looking to feel something?

And as for greywolf... this benefits men by making it easier to hold off our orgasm, and if mastered possibly allows us for multiple O's, also makes our erections harder. Now I do not expect to master something like this completely and become some kind of sexual super god or anything like that. Right now I go about 45 minutes at a time with my gf (she likes marathon men) before I loose it and get off. Also, it isn't just one position we do, we switch it up a lot. Now keep in mind I am not doing this for her, I am doing it for me because I am a very healthy living guy so I am doing this completely for me and not for her. About 20 minutes into intercourse I start to go soft and it takes me a lot more concentration to keep hard. Usually when this happens we will switch and she will give me oral to get it back up (helps tons!) and then I get back in the saddle but it still takes some concentration. I go for about another 20-25 minutes (concentrating) then get off. I am trying to make it where these last 20-25 minutes feel more pleasurable for myself and take less concentration. Overall I am very satisfied with my own performance, but if I can make it better then I want to obviously!
