Alright, so...

I'm going to be alone the next long weekend, and me and my ex still text each other and whatnot, so i invited him over that weekend. obviously, sex is going to happen. I know this is a pretty bad idea, but idk really. If I know that it's over, and has been for a year, and we've seen other people, and our families think we have nothing to do with each other...am I really that dumb? Is it right in front of me and I just refuse to accept it? I know that he still cares about me, and knowing that...I could never give up on him. =\

If you can make any sense of this, please respond. thank you.

You know that it's over over for sure, like, over never happening again?

Are you just feeling lonely, which is why you invited him?

Do you still have true feelings, or, just like being around him?

I'm still very much in love with him, and he knows that, so yes, I still have true feelings for him and like being around him. It's been over for a while, so I'm pretty sure if he was going to get back with me, he would have by now and I don't want to ruin whatever it is that we are by asking him to come back right now.
