Sweat Smell Problem
Hey guys I need some help. For the past couple of years I have been sweating really bad while I sleep, to the point where my pillow is actually damp when I wake up. The problem I am having isn't necessarily the sweat, I can handle that, and theres no much I can do to stop it. The problem is that it has been smelling very bad. To the point where I can't even handle it when I wake up in the morning. I don't think the problem is being caused by my diet, as I don't really eat that much to begin with. I have heard that smoking can add to it, but that is not something I am going to quit just because of the smell.
The problem only seems to happen while I'm sleeping, throughout the day, I don't seem to get any type of odd smell. Anyways, any ideas as to what could be causing it, or how to eliminate it? |

How's the temperature in your room? Do you feel hot before you fall asleep?

Unfortuantely my room will always be hot, and that is the reason that I do sweat so much. As I said the sweating isn't the problem, its the smell.

Well, the excessive sweat causes the smell, so i'm not sure how you can avoid the smell without finding some way of controlling the sweat. Perhaps try a new air freshener or change your sheets really often.Sorry I'm not really sure what to suggest if you can't get AC or a fan...perhaps wear fewer clothes to bed? Keep the window open?

Taking zinc helps with body odor it might help with the smell you have. My mom uses zinc and doesn't even need deordant anymore. She had bad BO.
