You can try 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of warm water. Sip that over the course of a couple of hours, and then repeat.

You can also try over the counter Zantac or Tagamet, which inhibit production of stomach acid. But the baking soda is really cheap and you can spread it out. It'll buffer the acid.

Unless you're exagerating, you asked for help FAST, and said you had MAJOR pains (your capitalisation).

The answer is simple. Go see a doctor.

It sounds like you have heartburn. Any other symptoms such as pain/numbness in the shoulders or limbs? Does it feel like someone's sitting on your chest? Just want to check it's not a heart attack but if you're in down, call the emergency services.

If it is heartburn, take some baking soda, stir it in water and swallow the stuff. It tastes awful but it works. Keep sipping some milk. To get rid of spicyness in the mouth or throat east some bread or brown rice.

Hope that helps!

Our bodies cannot break down the chemical that makes things spicy...Calcium will help...So milk is a good thing...
