Bad Skin!

Hi ive got really rough bumpy skin, fines lines, and in the right lighting i can see the texture of it is cover in tiny little lines, its like my skin has no collagen in it, anyway i've developed alot of aging because of it, the pics below arent that high resolution or in the best lightining to show but i think you can see some of the roughness and lines, when i squink those wrinkles are lines when im not, Im only 22, does it look bad or im i being too insecure. I know its bad and even had an ex tell me the other day that i dont look alot like i did in highschool, which i know i shouldnt but not so bad at only 22, i noticed my aging at around 19 to 20, i clean my face twice a day and use moisturizer on my face, im not out in the sun alot either, i look older than my peers and feel i shouldnt especially since i take good care of my skin.

Why not pay a visit to a dermatologist, they may give you a recommendation on a product, im sure they see those scenarios alot and can give you good advise on what to do.

I used to drink heavily, but have drastically changed my habits a year and a half ago, i smoked in highschool for like 2 years then i stopped freshman year of college. Also my and looks trigger pretty serious depression fits every now and then, resulting in suicidal thoughts as well, i think ive got a serious appearance problem.

Okay, well drink tons of water, moisturize every night before bed, especially in the delicate eye area. Things like Vitamin E and grapeseed oil (which also contains Vitamin E I think) are superb for your skin. I'm sure I don't have to tell you that smoking can be murder on the skin in addition to the health drawbacks.

I think the bigger deal is that you should deal with the mental/emotional aspects of this and focus on things you like about yourself. You shouldn't be having suicidal thoughts just because you have a few lines around your eyes when you squint.

But, if you're looking for a more specific skin solution, I agree with everyone else that you should see a dermatologist...and wear SPF 15 every day! Even if you dont spend a lot of time outside, I'm sure you do leave the house. Nowadays they're saying you should put some on every day to prevent against casual exposure to the sun because it adds up.

Outside of having a good everyday skincare routine, I don't think you have a lot to worry about. Some people's lines are hereditary. Most people don't have perfect skin. As I said before, you should try to get to the bottom of why you let what you deem to be a couple of skin issues have such a devastating emotional effect on you.

Thanks, i realize that i need to figure a bunch out, its strange, my skin is a trigger for these really deep depressive mood swings i get in, they turn into thinking suicidal thoughts and realizing that i hate my life, and dont really get much pleaure or lasting fulfillment with life, it makes me so down and bitter and not want to even be around my family. Ive got many problems and dont really have anyone i can relate to or talk about things to that understand, i have no one and it makes it hard
