Smoking and Kissing

Just curious what are all your views on this??

For me smoking is a disgusting habit. EVERYTHING about it. The way it makes you smell, your hair ... your mouth YUCK! Sure, I've smoked the occasional cigarette while drinking ... so I am not one to preach, BUT a smoking partner is kind of a RED flag for me. Although I've never really dated one ... the guy im talking to (that guy friend of mine) he's a smoker ... he's got a great personality and all ... but should I be willing to overlook the NASTY habit? Should there ever be future potential.

But in all seriousnes, would you be able to overlook the nasty habit if you really liked the guy/girl? Why or why not?

You could overlook it to a certain point. But a lot of people won't. Which is why I quit!! I didn't want to have fewer chances of meeting people because they saw me smoking.

It's all you in the end. I've never kissed a smoker when I've not been a smoker, so I don't know what it tastes like.

interesting question...I myself agree i think it is a filthy disgusting habit. I am actually allergic to smoke just the smell of it gives me an instant headache...with that said I have had an occasion where I have been very attracted to a smoker in every other way...and the connection was pretty insane...so i would date a smoker if it was a really strong connection and hope that they would see how much the smoke bothers me and try very hard to not smoke around me...
To me a deep connection on all levels supersedes any red flags i might have...

One word: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

it is a filthy habit. I'm too old and set in my ways to put up with such a kaka (technical term ) habit.

Not much worse of a smell on a person (besides plain outright BO) than the smell of cigarette smoke. I used to smoke and when i realized how bad the smell was i think that was a motivator to quit even more than my health (ok i was young and stupid, lol. at least i quit)

the smell gives me an instant headache, yuck! i HATE, hate the smell more then anything. i cannot stand smelling someone who smokes.

i've probably kissed two smokers in my life and lets just say they weren't my best kisses ... and it didn't go past just a kiss, lol.
