bleeding after gyno

I went to a gynecologist today. This is like my fourth time. I am not a virgin...

BUT I am bleeding!! Not a lot, it's more like minor spotting..but what's up with that!?

That usually hapens to me afterward too. I woudln't worry about it, unless it gets too heavy and you have to wear a pad or something. Then you may want to call your doctor.

It happens to me, too. Sometimes your cervix is more sensitive to agitation and you'll spot. I noticed its especially more sensitive close to my period and have had my period start early because of the exam. If it the bleeding is more than light, go to the doctor right away.

Oh yeah when he was examining me, I got the kind of pain I usually get during my period! It was odd!!! oO I will see what happens tomorrow. Right now I'd say I have to wear a pad..but not for blood.. (sorry for grossness!!) I have heavy discharge (the kind most women get, just not in these quantities!) UGH!

Was the pain a little like cramps? That's what happens to me. It usually happens when the clamps are in there. You'll be fine. But if it continues for more than a day, call your doctor.

Yeah cramps I get during my period (it's a weird type of cramp too...) but it only lasted for like an hour or so after that. I was worried about the bleeding though. Glad I'm not the only one! I feel better now

I was in menopause and had a very light period for five days after I had my exam once. It scared me, but I have heard it's common to have a freak period after a pap smear.

What kind of discharge are you having? Is it just clear fluid/mucous?

I sometimes have heavier fluids a couple of days before my period and sometimes if I'm extra horny but not usually at other times. I occasionally have spotting but I've never had any health problems associated with it, but other than that I've never had discharge that required a pad.

It's not a thick or discolored discharge is it? (white or yellow or thick/cheesy) It's not itchy is it?

I've heard this is totally normal.

It's happened to me randomly after gyno visits, too.

If it persists, consult a doctor, otherwise I think it is fairly normal.

OK now it's like a full blown period!!

Is it time for you period or not, maybe it just came early. I hope everything is fine for you.

Nope it's not time at all.. this is not period blood. I guess I will give him a call tomorrow.
