Just the thought of him gives me the hives!!!!!!!!

Ok people.. I'm not joking. My body is now physically reacting not only with stress and headaches and tension and heart beats... but I now have hives.

This is so gross, but also really scary. WT H*ll is wrong with me that I like these men who make me physically SICK?

I haven't thought much about him in two days, then WHAM.. tonight I was reading some posts here and started thinking about him something random.. and even now... just the thought is making me get itchy.

I'm sorry if this is grossing people out. I assure you, I am not a gross person.

I don't know what to do!! How do you STOP YOUR MIND FROM REMEMBERING THAT THIS PERSON IS WALKING AROUND AND WAS IN YOUR LIFE????

the doc has me on a fairly high dosage of prednisone and I'm sure that is causing my agitation right now... but, this is sooooo sad.

I want to cry.

He doesn't even know this.. not that I ever would want him to.. but shouldn't he know how much he messes with people... ?

i've NEVER had this kindof reaction before. Grrrrr... I'm so upset.

Yes, prednisone can affect your emotions, as well as your appetite.

Sometimes crying it out can be therapeutic.

As well as listening to music. Right now I'm blasting "Mr Brightside" by the Killers as a way to decompress and calm down.

Good luck.

good idea. and I think I'll listen to the killers, too.

I cannot believe how much these meds are messing with me. One minute I feel like I could pull an airplane down the runway with my teeth and the next I'm pulling my hair out trying not to talk to anyone on the phone because I'm afraid they'll think I'm nuts.

Then honestly, BAMB they are back and I'm miserable and this is SOOOO stress induced.

Yeah, prednisone, especially when you've never taken it before, can cause very interesting mood swings. Also, be careful about your appetite. It will cause your appetite to increase and you will retain some water weight.

Music can help calm things down.

The weight you gain from taking prednisone can and will drop off after you stop your prednisone dosage.

Just keep in mind that your hunger pains are coming from the meds, and eat accordingly.
