This is a question for EVERYBODY...its in 2 parts

a)what were some of the crazes you remember growing up/your kids or brothers growing up? eg. yoyos, knuckle heads (or is it called knuckle bones?)

b) what are some good pressie ideas for boys of the following ages...

[1986]1st bday -
[1987]2nd bday - thomas the tank engine? or is that too young?
[1988]3rd bday - maybe finger paint since he didnt go to kindergarten?
[1989]4th bday -
[1990]5th bday -
[1991]6th bday -
[1992]7th bday - maybe something to do with getting your "pen liscence"?
[1993]8th bday -
[1994]9th bday -
[1995]10th bday -
[1996]11th bday -
[1997]12th bday - An old copy of the Secret Seven Book (used to read them)
[1998]13th bday -
[1999]14th bday - Native American indian friendship bracelet
[2000]15th bday -
[2001]16th bday - boyz II men cd?
[2002]17th bday -
[2003]18th bday - car? alcho?
[2004]19th bday - uni survival kit?
[2005]20th bday -
[2006] 21st bday -
[2007] 22nd bday -
[2008] 23rd bday - pair of my earrings he wants to remind him of me

Here is why i ask...as some of you have probably read in another post im thinkin of a present for my bf whos 23 in a week and ive come up with "23 years in a box". its going to be a box that contains one item for every birthday i missed...so im trying to remember things that were cool/kids wanted/crazes/music? etc...

eg...yoyos were in. and tamagotchis (over here anyway) and knuckle heads, polly pocket (ok yes for a GIRL) and dragon ball Z etc...

its hard for me cos im a girl so liked totally different things lol so thats why im asking anyone with a brother, or bf, or son, or cousin etc...so your help is really appreciated ^_^ if its something for example like the "latest bike", i might just buy an old school mini version, or like a "car" for the 18th bday, then i might buy a toy model...^_^ does that make sense? hehe

does anyone remember which years gumbi and captain planet and the power rangers where cool?!?! ^_^

maybe a soccer ball would work as he played soccer for a while

what else do young boys like? pokemon he didnt get into...TAZOS THOUGH!

NInja turtles where a craze when I was 5-6 and I was obsessed with em lol. Power rangers too when I was like 12. Marbles too when I was around 12.
Oh yes and I loveddddddddd Captain planet!!!!!! *sings* Captain planet! He's a herooo.. Gonna take po-lu-tion down to ze-ro!
