Friend's Christmas Present =]
This year for christmas, two of my closest friends and I decided we would buy christmas gifts for each other. We are 16-17, going from year 11 to year 12 at school.
One of them is male, one is female. I've bought her present, which is reallyyyy nice. I've taken so many steps to keep it a surprise though, that on the very off chance she will somehow find this topic, I will not say what it is exactly =P She's rather cute, and I care a lot about her. They are both buying dvd set's for each other (which I think is kinda boring but oh well). She has already bought my gift, which I really have no idea what it is. Because I have bought her such a great gift, I now need to buy my other friend something interesting to at least remotely be kinda equal to her present. So does anybody have any good ideas for a christmas present, preferably around the $50 mark. Also, I was wondering what to do about cards and packaging?

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure, haha.
It sounds bad, but he's the kind of guy that will tend to be "interested" in everything, but maybe he's less interested than he's letting on. He enjoys volleyball, tennis, basketball, he also has a dog, an xbox 360, likes movies/tv shows (movies such as LOTR & Star Wars, tv shows such as Scrubs) He also reads a fair bit.. He's quite a responsible guy. School captain, and he works heaps (and is good at his retail job). Umm.. yeah.. Any ideas are great, the sooner the better (with christmas rapidly approaching.. Not even a week left now!

Call of Duty 4. I have a friend who wont let up about it, and it's for Xbox 360. It's around $50, also.

If he has Xbox live you can get him microsoft points for his 360. They are used to buy things like downloadable games, themes, gamer pics, etc
