Wink listening to music a cd player while asleep?

I don't know if this works, but I heard some people listen to certain programs while sleeping and it affects them while they're awake. They go through many changes and such.

You think if we got our partners a cd player or ipod and make them listen to documentaries about how infidelity is wrong and how it should not be done, then they wouldn't do it hahah

I don't know if that really works...I do remember one time I didn't study well for a huge exam though, so I recorded all my notes and tried to listen to them as I slept.

...now honestly, listening to myself read my notes aloud over and over again DID help, but...I didn't get much sleep hah

It doesn't work the way you're thinking as far as I know.

I used to play music seriously and would do something very similar. What I found though is that you only retain the information "while you're sleeping" actually during the stages right before you're asleep-which might be that sort of stage where you're not really conscience of you being awake or not...just ready to fall asleep...and right around when you might be in that half dream world before you become awake. When you're asleep...you're not hearing anything...your minds in another world. I'm pretty sure I didn't get anything from the cds and such when I was dead asleep because I'd test myself and didn't find any results. However, on occasion when I'd be in those half conscience states, which one gets to before they fall completely asleep...I'd find the next day that those thoughts heard on the cd would come out during the day. Of course I'd have to think hard about where I'd heard them from...sometimes I wouldn't ever figure it out.

Of course, you can record something and then stay awake to listen to it...that's something totally different all together though.

Sadly this doesn't work at all You'll only be taking in information for the first 15 mins or so while you're falling into a deeper sleep then that's about it. If anything its just going to disturb your sleep and make you less capable of retaining or learning new info.
Not so much for getting your partner to become unconsiously more loyal, but in the case of studying for finals; doing so before bed can be really beneficial because sleep is when you brain stocks information and makes it permanent. If you study before sleeping you won't have time to have it fade from your short and long term memory before your brain starts cementing all the info from the day.

usually if you study before you go to bed you remember stuff better because your mind is at rest.
I know a few people who listen to music before or when they are sleeping. I sleep with my laptop and tv on :P (simply cuz I forget to turn them off before I head to bed
