Disappointed
Hi
I felt disappointed by my boss, because I took initiative to help her to resovlve a recurring problems. At the end, she kick me out of the picture. This recurring problems have actually slow down not also the work in my department but also department Z. Now, the problem has been solved. The department Z does not have problem to login to the system. For our department, we have to frequently ask department Z or Y to help us to sign in. The department Y head is complaining as for their department they seldom use the system, for us when need to use it every day to print report. Department Z head is seldom around because he is always on the go. So to resolve this issues, I am thinking of asking my staff to gather all the works that need to asses to this system and ask Department Y head to sign in once the morning to reduce his complain. I felt my boss does not recognise me as one of the department head even though I am appointed as one. I am seriously thinking of leaving this company. Apart from that, I believe that my boss would want to take away a few staffs from my department because she notices they are hardworking and willing to stay back to complete their job. It believe she will do it, because she mentioned in one of the meeting, though it is not official yet. It is will be official soon. I believe my position as a department head would not be long before she demote me to other department. I saw her did it to some staffs before, I believe she could do it again. I believe as a department head, my job is to bring out the best in my staffs. Staffs that are independent and able to solve problem by themselves. My boss does not seems to recognise our effort to solve problem. When we receive formal complaint from customers, she would scold us for keep pushing the blame to others and no one step in to solve customer complaint. At the end, she has to solve the complaint by herself. |

They say: No good deed goes unpunished, and in companies that's definitly the truth. I would leave the company , let her solve the problems herself this time, then she might aknowledge your value inside of the company, but by that time you should try to get a better paying job and a better enviroment, in where you are aknowledged for your skills.
