Weed triggering ex flashbacks/dreams?

Wow never thought i need to post here again, as i had gotten over my ex. But just lately i have been having dreams again, like that we are getting back together. But i know it would never work and we arnt even interested in each other any more.

I had a few joints yesterday with my band and when they had left i was feeling pretty stoned, i couldnt stay up so i went to bed. Just before i fell asleep i got a text from the ex, just saying shes at a party and a song came on that we danced to once. That night i had a dream we got back together and everything was perfect, like when we first started going out. I woke up actually thinking i was back with her cos the dream was so real. Then when i realised it was a dream i was dissapointed cos the dream was so perfect.

I hope that made sense. I had dreams like that back when i was still like heartbroken and healing. But now i feel im fully healed, and the only excuse for the flashbacks and dreams is weed.

A lot of dreams occur because of the last thing you had on your mind prior to going to sleep, or something thats been stressing you for a long period of time. Don't think the week itself triggered it, but the text message and the thought of your ex prior to sleeping did. Stay strong, dude... try to think of good things.

then stop smoking weed. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.

When she split, I had to give it up too, it made me more down and feel too dark.

Once I quit, the healing was/is easier.
