really hoping it's food poisoning

... and not another pregnancy!

Over the last week I've been hungry. I mean an intense hunger that cannot be satisfied. I wake up and go to bed thinking about food. And tonight I feel real sick. I haven't felt this way since 1 year ago, when I was in my first trimester.

I want to go get a pregnancy test right now but it's 2am and I'm sure my mother in law would freak out if she knew I was leaving the house this late at night. I'll take one tomorrow.

Ooo...typically with food poisoning, true food poisoning, you are vomiting repeatedly and regularly for about 12 hours or so straight.

If it feels similar to how you were in your first trimester...that might be it! Is your period late?

I would imagine if it was food poisoning you wouldn't feel hungry at all, let us know how you get on with your test hazey!

I don't know, the couple times I had good poisoning, food was the absolute LAST thing I wanted (it even came after "wanting to curl up in ball and die").

I would get a test.

Oh wow!

I'm not in a relationship right now so I knew there was no chance of me being pregnant, but I went through the same thing as you. I started feeling sick and all the symptoms I had when I first got pregnant. I thought I just had the flu then but this was exactly the same. I was telling my best friend how I felt sick and she even asked me if I was on birth control because all my symptoms were exactly the same.

So good luck, PLEASE keep us updated, I'm gonna come check up on you lots today so I hope you hear the news you wanna hear.

Yup, I also agree, if it is food poisoning, food is the last thing on your mind. I had a small case of food poisoning last week (ate bad carrots) and I felt like death. I could not even stand up straight my stomach hurt so bad.

Please keep us updated. Hope you feel better soon.

well I still feel sick now, and hungry! I took a test and it came back negative. But I don't know if it was too soon, since I haven't started getting my period yet since baby. Anyway, my mind is put at ease.

It could also just be hormone fluctuations as part of the post partum period.

Good luck!
