A little scare

Ok I just got a little scare today. I dont know if I should be worried or disregard it. I had sex with my gf today for the first time. We are both 16. Before I put on the condom I briefly put my penis in her for maybe less than 3 seconds, 2 times. Before I did I wiped the tip off of pre-cum and made sure it was dry. When I pulled it out I had some stuff on my penis, it was probably her vaginal juices most likely. I didnt go very deep either. Just enough to get the head in. After that I put the condom on and we had real sex. I didnt cum at all in the end. Im just a bit worried that she might get pregnant. Because I know that a woman can get pregnant at any time with just a tiny bit of pre-cum (even tho I made sure there wasn't any), but then I hear stories of people who have unprotected sex numerous times and they dont get pregnant. Is this worth worrying about? If it is a big concern, when Is the best time to take a pregnancy test? I dont know much about the menstrual cycle and all that. Any advice would be great. My stomach is churning.

oh god, i'm so bad. i didn't go on the pill til i was probably 17, and i never always used condoms with any boyfriend before (lost my virginity at 14). with one guy, we had tons of unprotected sex, and nothing ever happened. and i'm technically VERY fertile.. my father comes from a family of like ten and my mom from a family of seven. i see a lot of posts like this on here, but you shouldn't really worry about it. if you do worry like this, though, just make sure to always use a condom in the future, no matter what!

I wouldn't be too concerned about it this time but MAKE SURE you are careful and use protection cuz all it can take is one slip-up to get her pregnant. Even then condoms are only 99.9 % effective. That being said what you did isn't going to get her pregnant so just relax and don't worry and if she misses a period then she should take a pregnancy test and if its positive - THEN you can worry. Until then just relax.

Hmm...I didn't think there was much to worry about after the last post but today my gf got worried because she showed some symptoms of pregnancy. Like shes been getting wierd headaches for a few days now and shes been more tired.

I just want to know if it was even possible to get pregnant at the time we did it, though. We had sex like 2 days after her period ended, so thats 2 days into her next cycle, right?

(I dont know much about the menstrual cycle )

Doesnt ovulation start like a week or more into the cycle? What I'm trying to do is reason whether or not pregnancy was even possible. Any advice?

Yes, it's very possible. Any time a penis enters a vagina, at any point in the cycle, it's possible. I would say your chances this time are fairly slim, but it is not something you should not worry about. Sorry, not what you want to hear, I know, but that's just biology. Remember this feeling next time you have sex. Use a condom every time your penis even goes near her vagina.

Incidentally, a woman normally ovulates about two weeks after her period. I say normally because these things can vary a lot from woman to woman.
