Finally breaking free of my mom!!!!

I have found an apartment!!!! I'll be staying with the lady I work with, she was looking for a roomate and I was looking for an apartment. I'll be paying 300 dollar a month and some change for the water bill. I'm REALLY excited to be moving out and getting away from my mom. If you've seen any of my other threads you will know how bad she me.

My only drawback is most every one I tell (except my dad and my boyfriend) thinks I should stay home as long as I can, that I shouldn't move out already and that I'm not ready to move out. I want to move out, but hearing these people tell me this negitive stuff is really making me feel un easy about moving out. What do you think I should do???

From reading your threads about your home situation, I do think you should move out. It will help you save money and help your self-esteem a lot. It will also make you proud of yourself for being able to live on your own. $300/month for rent is NOT bad. Good luck to you and I hope you do stick with moving out. Your home living situation is very toxic to your emotional and physical well-being.

Hey there Liz,

I believe these people whom say to stay where you are because of your age. But they have no idea what it is like to walk a mile in your shoes and the only solution to your issue was to remove yourself from the situation.

I am so happy you found a place to live. And for 300 dollars, that is awesome! I wish you all the best. You have to do what is right for you.
