Talking I can't contain myself!

My boyfriend asked me to marry him tonight!!!

My boyfriend picked me up from work, and because it was such a beautiful evening, we walked down to Harvard Square. We had dinner at our favorite place. While we were waiting for dinner, he fumbled around with his phone for a bit, saying he was turning off an alarm he had set. I asked what it was for, and he cryptically answered "Stuff." I thought it was weird, but didn't really think much more of it.

On our way over to the ice cream place, he mentioned that at that moment, accounting for Daylight Savings Time, it had been exactly 456 days since he first laid eyes on me. I thought it was sweet, and asked him why he calculated that out, and he said he just felt like it. I asked if that was why he kept checking the time, and he said yes. I gave him a kiss and we went in to get ice cream.

We wandered around eating our ice cream, and when we were standing on the corner in Harvard Square, he said "Actually, there is a reason I calculated that out," pulled out a Ring Pop (the real ring, which will be emerald and sapphire, will come later), quoted a song we always sing together, and asked me to marry him.

I said yes, obviously, although I had to ask him afterward if I said yes yet because my head was spinning.

I've never been more happy in my entire life. We are so perfect for each other it's not even funny. I love this man so much more than I ever thought I could love anyone.
