Question Menopause and weight gain

I'm looking for hints, advice and helpful tips from those who are mid 40ish or so and are starting to enter menopause. I have noticed a little weight gain around my belly. It is funny cause it seemed sudden like, and I still try and eat right and exercise.

Tell me what works for you!

I have noticed the same thing too. Unfortunately at our age it is A LOT harder to get weight off than it was when we were younger. I have recently lost 35 pounds but it took me amost a year to do it! If I ate the way I am now and exercised the way I am now when I was in my 20's and 30's I would have weighed 90 pounds! Lots of exercise was the answer for me. I'm not sure I want to see what I will have to do in my 50's. : )
